Kuramarakom Bird Reserve is one of the first in Kerala. It will appeal to both bird lovers and just want to have a good time in the open air.
It is home to more than 400 species of exotic and rare birds and as many more are temporary guests, stopping at the reserve during their arrival in the south. Siberian storks, white herons, cranes, parrots, larks - this is only a small part of the inhabitants you will meet here.
During a walk around the reserve you can not only get acquainted with the birds, but also enjoy the picturesque nature of the local places.
