Description:
The construction of Fort Nagar dates back to about the second century. The fort survived many battles due to its high walls and spacious campus with many palaces and temples inside. Nagar Fort is considered the best fort in Rajasthan.
The fort is located in the center of the city of the same name in Rajasthan in India. The most famous temples of the fort: Tarkin Dargah, Aymer Dargah and others, which are sacred places for Muslims, Sufis, Jains. In these places the saints liberated their souls and achieved harmony. Deepak Mahal is fully decorated with beautiful floral ornamentation, Rani Mahal is painted almost in the same way as the Sistine Chapel in Rome, in the temple of Krishna Mandir everything is dedicated to Krishna, so Krishna is painted on the walls. This speaks to the uniqueness of each temple in Fort Nagar.
Today, Nagar is in a rather deplorable state. The ancient complex of the fort with richly painted palaces, mosques, temples, as well as gardens requires careful treatment and repair.
