Desuri Tehsil, Near Sadri, Rajasthan 306702, India

Description:

Indian temple Adinath is included in the temple complex Ranakpur, built in the XV century in the forest valley of the Arawali mountains. The temple is one of the five great sacred sites for the Jains, which is dedicated to the first Jain Tirtankara Adinath (Rishabhadeva) (there were only 24). Inside the temple there is a statue of Adinatha, near which there is a table with offerings.

The temple is a huge building made of white marble and decorated with various sculptures. The harmony of the architectural elements makes the majestic temple complex of Ranakpur together with its temples a truly impressive example of the architecture of Western India.

Adinath is decorated with exquisite carvings, cantilevered ceilings, marble columns with a unique non-repeating ornament. Near the temple there is a picturesque garden.

The temple can be visited only from 12 p.m., since before that time there is a service.
