Patwon Ki Haveli Mansion in Rajasthan

Patwon Ki Haveli Mansion is the most luxurious mansion of the many built in Jaisalmer. It was built in 1805 by the wealthy trader Chand Patwa. The mansion was intended for his five sons and had five floors. Construction work lasted more than 35 years.

Today, the mansion is a richly decorated palace complex, standing in a secluded place behind a huge arched gate. The entire front facade is carved and decorated with 60 lattice balconies carved from stone.

Inside the mansion amaze its long corridors and richly furnished spacious rooms, decorated with ancient frescoes and wall paintings.
