Cardamom mountains
Description:
The famous Western Ghats are the mountains that separate Kerala and Tamil Nadu. These mountains are also called Cardamom Mountains. The observation tower is located on the top of one of the mountains, which you need to reach on 22 serpentine with steep turns. From this tower there are stunning views of the mountain range to the sea. You can see the plantations of tea, spices, the mountain river Callar with its streams.
After descending from the mountain, we can walk through the forest to the large waterfall. On the way along the path there are tropical trees, large and beautiful butterflies and huge centipedes, as well as huge rocks hanging overhead. We'll also wade across the mountain river. This is the most interesting, because the water in the river is so clean and cold, dipping into which you quickly forget about the fatigue from the road.
