Aqaba

First bay

Aqaba (Gulf), Jordan

Description:

The First Bay is one of the many scenic diving spots on the southern coast of Aqaba. It is located about 700 meters south of the Maritime Science Station. The average depth of immersion is 15 meters, the maximum depth is 35 meters.

The mild climate and warm sea currents created ideal conditions for the formation of the unique biodiversity of the Red Sea. Here you can see coral cabbage and black coral trees, swim with friendly dolphins and sea turtles among the colorful sea fish. The deeper place of the bay is called Death Valley, at a depth of about 100 meters and in the presence of a strong current, complications are possible, leading to a sad outcome. In this section of the bay, only experienced divers with the appropriate equipment are allowed to dive.

The first bay is an ideal place for lovers of outdoor activities. Here you can take beautiful pictures that will remind you of an unforgettable holiday spent in Jordan.
