Basra International Airport
Description:
Basra International Airport is the second largest international airport in Iraq.
Located north of the city of Basra. The airport was built in the sixties and reconstructed in the eighties.
The airport was closed for a long time during the first Gulf War and the invasion of Iraq in 2003, and later opened in 2005.
