Description:

Imam Ali Mosque is a holy site in the Iraqi city of Nejef. Moreover, it is the center of the Islamic religion spreading from here around the world.

It is to Imam Ali Mosque that Muslim pilgrims from all over the world come to honor the memory of the first immaculate imam whose remains were buried here. According to Shia tradition, the mosque is the burial place of Adam and Noah.
