Dolmens Newgrange and Note

Description:

During the trip you will get acquainted with one of the two UNESCO monuments in the Republic of Ireland!

This is a complex of Neolithic buildings in Meath County: Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth.

Newgrange is one structure. Its height is about 11 meters, a diameter of about 80 meters and according to scientists, the total weight of stone blocks and land is about 200 thousand tons!

The main mystery of Newgrange is that in its completely dark, 19-meter corridor, on the days of the winter solstice, a ray of light penetrates for a few minutes and reaches the center of the room. The window opening above the main entrance serves as his starting point.

Now imagine who, more than 5,000 years ago, could have designed and built such an astronomically oriented structure. And this is due to technical difficulties, where only 97 pieces of stone were used, weighing more than a ton each.

Another complex of Note structures is located on a huge natural hill, made of more than 100 massive, stone blocks, most of which weigh at least a ton. Stone blocks are set in a circle, and the roof of this structure is represented in the form of a large hill. Near the main building there are 18 smaller mounds.

Through the entire inner part of the hill lies a narrow, and rather low passage, made of large, stone blocks laid on the principle of the gate. Almost all the blocks that make up the outer and inner walls have images similar to unknown writing.

The most important thing is the construction problem. Because there were no stone blocks in the area, and there is no mention! And the nearest mountains with a similar structure are at a distance of 70-80 kilometers, in the county of Wicklow.

If you are fond of esotericism, or you are simply interested in unexplained phenomena, then this trip is for you!
