Selyalandsfoss is the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland. This is one of the most famous sights of the country.
The waterfall is located at the intersection of the first route of the district road, between the cities of Selfoss, Hvolsvödlur, Skougar and Skougafoss waterfall. Selyalandsfoss is located on the Seljalandsau River. The height of the waterfall is 60 meters. Photos of Seljalandsfoss Falls can be found in many books and calendars because it is incredibly picturesque.
The deep indentation behind the waterfall allows you to move freely behind it, admiring the magnificent views from all sides. Not far from the waterfall is a small camp.
