Hafragilsfoss Waterfall
Vatnajoekull National Park Sprengisandsleið, Iceland
Description:
Hafragilsfoss is one of the largest waterfalls in the mountain ice river Jö kuls Fjö llum. The waterfall collapses with a huge roar from a height of 27 meters (89 feet) and is about 90 meters (300 feet) wide.
You can see the falls from both sides of the river, but the eastern side is more accessible and there is a better view. To see the waterfall from the west side of the river, you must first experience a small adventure and overcome steep climbs with the help of several rope stairs.
The view from here is very picturesque, so if travelers are not far from this place, they are sure to visit this waterfall either on their own or as part of excursions.
