Pedestrian sightseeing "most-most"
Description:
I invite you to walk through the most famous areas of Barcelona - Eixample and the Gothic Quarter. We will see the most interesting buildings of the city, walk through the most beautiful streets and visit the most famous squares.
The tour begins at the intersection of the longest street of the city - Diagonal and the widest - Paseigz de Gracia (Boulevard Gracia), near the most unusual building of Barcelona - the House of Mila (La Pedrera). We will walk along the boulevards where the richest oligarchs of Barcelona built their houses 100 years ago and see the buildings erected by the most talented Catalan architects (including of course Antonio Gaudí).
You will learn not only the most typical characteristics of Barcelona modernism, but also some interesting details from the lives of the owners of these buildings. If you want to visit the House of Batllo or the House of Mila, you can do it with me without waiting in line. We will also visit the largest gastronomic center of Barcelona, where you will feel the atmosphere of the local bourgeoisie. excursions in Barcelona, excursions in Barcelona, guide in Barcelona
Then we will find ourselves in the largest and busiest square of Barcelona, it is also the largest commercial and transport hub of the Catalan capital. From here depart the most famous streets of the city, including the most popular - La Rambla, through which we will enter the Gothic quarter. excursions to Barcelona, guide in Barcelona
Near the Cathedral you will see the oldest walls of Barcelona and the most famous and unusual mailbox, we will pass through the oldest gates of the city and visit the royal palace with the highest observation tower (although it was in the 16th century).
And then we will go to the main square of Barcelona, where the most important buildings are located - the City Hall and the Palace of the Catalan government. The square is named after the most important patron of all Spain. The square is adjacent to the oldest streets of Barcelona, it is here that the oldest synagogue in Europe (or rather what remains of it) is located, and nearby the most cheerful square in Barcelona and the very first work of Antonio Gaudí. excursions in Barcelona, excursions in Barcelona, guide in Barcelona
At the end of our tour we will see the most original statues of Barcelona and finish our walk in the most famous place - at the monument to Columbus, near which is located, not even the most, but just a unique building in the world. excursions in Barcelona, excursions in Barcelona, guide in Barcelona
