Walk around Barcelona
Description:
Dear travelers and guests of our city, I invite you to a walking tour of the old quarter and the most beautiful street in Barcelona, the luxurious Boulevard Paseo de Gracia. If you want to get acquainted with the heart of the city, its history and the architecture of the magnificent Antonio Gaudí, then this tour is for you.
The Old Town, particularly the Gothic Quarter, is the part of the city where Barcelona began. Today it is beautiful and modern and boasts of its beautiful old quarters, historical sights, Roman excavations, Romanesque monasteries and Gothic buildings. All this beauty we will pass with you during the tour where you will learn historical facts and local legends and imbue with the atmosphere of the old city.
Without this tour, exploring Barcelona is not complete, as it is the most important part of the city and its history. The winding streets will allow you to understand and feel the very essence of the old city.
Beautiful photos can be taken in the old quarter, because not for nothing come here from different parts of the world in search of the best photos for their wedding albums.
And of course, the most beautiful Boulevard Paseo de Gracia, which is one of the widest streets of the Eixample quarter, the same one with square quarters, where each quarter had its own courtyard full of beautiful trees, flowers and playgrounds. But these were plans that changed the industrial era and anchored today’s modern world.
But the houses of Gaudí’s work will not change anything, especially considering that they are protected by UNESCO and should not be changed to preserve such beauty for future generations. Two houses, Batloh House and Mila House, were built one by one and are the most representative of Gaudí’s work, built at the peak of his creative trajectory. Built one after another, they are delightful, incredible, mysterious, incomprehensible, enticing and terribly attractive. It seems that one can look at them for hours, and the eye will not tire of strain and will find more and more lines and curves, details and parts, as if only nature herself created these masterpieces in collusion with this strange man.
I am waiting for you on a tour of the old quarter!
