Mount Tibidado

Doctor Andreou Square. From there - on an old funicular to the top of the mountain

Description:

Mount Tibidado is a 500-meter mountain, it is also the highest point of Barcelona, it is also the keeper of the Church of the Sacred Heart of Christ, beautiful views and the city park.

Everything in order. The idea of erecting a temple in the neo-Gothic style arose in the 1880s, the architect Enrique Sanier realized the idea. From the temple, as from the highest point of the Collserola mountain range, offers a beautiful view of Barcelona and the coast of Catalonia. The temple is crowned with a statue of Christ opening his arms to the world.

The fascinating view of Barcelona also opens from the observation deck or from the old damn wheel. In addition to the Ferris wheel, the park has the “Kru’eger Hotel El Terror”, replete with many bloodthirsty ghosts.
