Park Güell
Carrer d'Olot, 13, 08024 Barcelona, Espanya
Description:
Park Güell is an incredibly beautiful place, designed to create a private residential complex that would resemble the popular style of construction in England, which is a garden city. Subsequently, in 1984, this extraordinary park was inscribed on the UNESCO Heritage List.
The creation of the garden city was ordered by Eusebi Güell, a Spanish philanthropist, after whom the complex was named. The main work on the design and construction of amazing, bizarre houses, ornate walkways and alleys was performed by the famous Catalan architect Antonio Gaudí, whose works are considered real works of art. Park Güell is also home to the often-visited Gaudí House, with furniture and other items designed by the architect himself.
By right, the most beautiful place in Park Güell is the square located next to the central entrance. Unusual buildings, as if embodied in life with pictures, are admired not only as grandiose architectural ideas, but also as unique and unique works of sculptural art.
