Catalonia in Miniature Park
Can Balasch de Baix, s/n, 08629 Torrelles de Llobregat, Spain
Description:
In a miniature open-air park, you can see a reduced Catalonia on a scale of 1:25. Little Catalonia fits on the territory of 25 thousand square meters. Pedestrians, buses, resorts, airplanes, gardens, parks, courtyards, houses and other structures are copied from the original as accurately as possible. This is not dead: the city, like the real one, lives a full life. This is all done in order to show Catalonia from a bird's eye view. Only from a bird's eye view, not everyone has the opportunity to explore the city. In this park, everyone is given the opportunity to feel like Gulliver in the country of small people. By the way, at the entrance of the park there is a large and symbolic figure of Gulliver.
A special place in the park is given to the work of the Spanish architect Antonio Gaudí, who created his architectural works almost without corners and straight lines.
