Plaza de Spain

Carrer de la Creu Coberta, 1, Barcelona, Spain

Description:

Piazza España, built for the World’s Fair in 1929, is one of the most important squares in the city and connects the four main streets of Barcelona.

It was designed by architects Guillem Busquets and Josep Cadafalsh. Its area is 34 thousand square meters and it is the second largest area of Spain.

In its center is a fountain designed by Josep Maria Huhol, and sculptures by Michel Bly. There are two Venetian towers on the sides. Their height is 47 meters, so it is not difficult to find the area.
