About the company:
The Maritime Museum, opened in 1929, attracts many guests who want to see and climb an exact replica of the giant size of the battle galleon of the XVI century.
The exposition of the museum reveals the stages of formation of navigation and its history in Catalonia. In the center of the exhibition is its main exhibit - a huge model of the medieval ship of the Spanish commander don Juan of Austria. You can not only climb the ship, but also feel like the captain of the ship thanks to 3D technologies.
In the museum you will see many other models of various water vehicles of all shapes and sizes, including the ship Santa Maria de la Victoria, on which Magellan made the first circumnavigation of the world. Also among the exhibits are sculptures of sailors, a variety of telescopes, maps, dioramas and many other equally interesting things.
