Excursion to the production of chacoli
Basques produce a unique wine - chacoli. On the slopes of the mountains facing directly to the ocean, only two varieties of grapes are grown, from which this wine is made: light, fresh, mineral and slightly sparkling. We invite you to first-hand know the secrets of its production.
During the tour you will visit 2 Chacoli wine houses, where you will see the production process and can taste the wine. Compare which one you like best! For a snack, winemakers offer the best: anchovies, tuna, sheep cheese and chorizo sausage.
If desired, the tour can be supplemented with lunch in one of the best fish restaurants of the coast in the town of Getaria.
