The population is 2,128,647, which is 4.5% of the total population of Spain. This same population lives in 88 municipalities, making it generally neither hot nor cold. Next, there are three universities – beautiful, and only 2 observatories. Just two or two? If in this case you look at the number 2 as a density, for example, per capita or per square kilometer, then this figure is simply gigantic, and the archipelago will come out on top in the world in this indicator! Why here? There are at least four reasons for this, the first is altitude, the second is proximity to the equator, the third is a low level of parasitic glows, the fourth is a high transparency of the atmosphere at local latitudes.
