Uncharted Tenerife
Description:
This tour will leave a lasting impression, both for those who are on the island for the first time and for experienced ones!
The main purpose of our trip will be the oldest natural park of the island of Tenerife – Anaga. At the moment, its age is estimated at an incredible figure, about nine million years. Perhaps the wettest region on the island, which is why the nature you will see here is truly unique. And due to the fact that the mountain range at the highest point has a height of more than one kilometer, surprisingly beautiful, panoramic views await you, and in cloudless weather, our giant volcano Teide flaunts in the background.
Surprisingly, until relatively recently, this paradise was completely isolated from the rest of the island, and only water communication was established. At the moment, we can move with absolute comfort through the territory of the Anaga Park and in all its glory observe the magical and rare relict forest, which has survived to this day, since the time of the dinosaurs! There are only a few such places in the world, so you can not miss the Laurisilva Forest, which has come down to us since the Jurassic period.
Here you can really see the oldest laurel forests, trees of bizarre shape, interweaving branches in the most unimaginable way. Moss formed a thick carpet, on which you want to walk barefoot, and the humidity and frequent low clouds create the atmosphere of a mystical film, that and look there will be characters of “Harry Potter” or “Lord of the Rings”. A huge number of pedestrian routes, varying degrees of complexity and duration. Naturally, as part of our trip, we will definitely make time for a pleasant walk through these amazing places.
Well, the continuation of our trip to this amazing area of the island will be Benijo beach - a place where time has stopped, here you forget about the hustle and bustle, just enjoying nature in its holistic form. On the way to it, take the best photos from several observation rooms, we will be on the top of the ridge, where the ocean will be on the right and left.
The beach is located in the real fishing village of Taganana, where you can taste fresh fish and delicious fried octopus, as a drink will be absolutely appropriate white wine, which is so famous for Tenerife. And a pleasant addition to the lunch will be a panoramic view of the ocean and the sound of the surf. Buen apetito!
After lunch, based on climatic conditions, you can visit a swim on the most beautiful and postcard beach of Tenerife - Las Teresitas, which is included in the Guinness Book of Records.
But whatever the end of our fascinating excursion, I'm not saying goodbye, I'm saying goodbye.
