Gala Pubol Castle
Description:
Gala Pubol Castle is a castle given to Gala by her lover Salvador Dali. Dali had long dreamed of giving his queen a castle, so he bought Pubol Castle, formerly owned by the descendants of the Marquise Blondel.
The acquired castle was in a dilapidated state. The peculiarity of the castle was that it was built directly in the church.
In front of the entrance to the castle is a lush park with cypresses and ivy. At the end of the garden is a pool with an ancient Greek temple, which is decorated with two caryatids and a stone boy on a fish. On both sides of the center with a sea line are sculptures by Richard Wagner.
Inside the castle there is a coat of arms hall with white walls and ancient insignia of ancient families. All the rooms of the castle with love and enthusiasm painted Dali for his beloved.
