Port city of Tarragona

Tarragona is a Spanish port city located 98 kilometers from Barcelona. In the city, in addition to a large seaport, there are many plants: wine, paper, tobacco, oil refineries, chemical plants. However, despite this, the golden beaches of Tarragona and the suburbs are exemplary clean and delightful in their beauty.

In the center of the city there are such attractions as the medieval Cathedral, the Palace of the Roman Viceroy, the remains of the Roman Wall, the Roman Forum, the Roman Museum, the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Ancient Weapons. And the most picturesque place of Tarragona is the so-called "Mediterranean balcony" - a high shore above the sea, from which there is an amazing view of the bay and a large ancient Roman amphitheater. The city is also famous for its wonderful festivals, competitions and festivals, which are held here almost every month.
