Monument to Peasants
Benicarl & oacute, Castell & oacute, Spain
Description:
The monument to peasants is one of the most remarkable monuments of the city of Benicarlo. It was established by the city administration on October 1, 2005 in gratitude for the labor of peasants. The monument is located next to the main cathedral of the city of San Bartolomeo and depicts a woman with a working class man. The height of the monument is about 2-3 meters. It was made of Burgundy stone, which is very convenient to use and is distinguished by its good quality.
Thus, the city administration wanted to express its gratitude to middle-income people and emphasize their importance to the city. Despite its recent existence, the monument invariably attracts many people who personify themselves with it.
