Carramote de Max Museum

Costa del Sol - the coast, where in addition to the blooming noisy resort centers there is a number of small quiet towns, captivating with their meekness. In each of them there is something to see and do idle vacationers. One of these towns is the snow-white Mijas, which covered the rock.

The main entertainment here is the sea, souvenir shops, shops and a variety of restaurants. But there is a very small, but in its own expressive museum. It's called Carramote de Max. The main part of the exhibition is miniatures of local artists. This collection does not contain outstanding works, but it clearly reflects the interests and capabilities of local artists and is clearly collected with love. The museum opened in 1972 and is believed to have been founded by hypnotist Juan Elegido Miyan.
