Malaga is the largest city on the coast and the capital of the province with the same name. The greatest interest here is the ancient fortress of Alcazada, built in the tenth century, with the castle of Castillo de Gibraltaro. Since the reign of the Romans, the remains of an amphitheater built at the end of the first and beginning of the second century AD have been preserved in the city center. It is worth visiting the house-museum of the famous artist Pablo Picasso, with a huge collection of paintings by the artist.
Then we will move to the west and here a tour of the west coast will show us the largest resorts of Andalusia.
Torremolinos is located twelve kilometers west of Malaga. In the center of the city, on the street San Miguel, is the temple of San Miguel, named after the patron saint of the city. On the same street you can see the tower of the fourteenth century, the footprint left in Spain by the Arab conquerors.
Belmadena is a town, a natural extension of Torremolinos. It is divided into three districts. There are many unique and interesting attractions in Belmadena. Sea Life Marine Aquarium, here is a huge collection of various species of sea fish, octopuses, sharks and other representatives of the oceans and seas. The ancient castle of Colomares, dedicated to the discovery of America, is located in the mountains, near the city.
Fuenghiroll. The former fishing village has now turned into a modern tourist center, with numerous hotels, entertainment, magnificent beaches.
