Description:
A very interesting option for hiking in the mountains in the province of Malaga can be the "Royal Trail", notable for its hydroelectric power plant, a trail passing through the gorge along a sheer rock and the rocks themselves. This is a 7.8 km long pedestrian route at a great height, which is called the "Road of Death", which led to the death of extreme seekers in the early XXI century. In 2015, the trail was equipped and today it is among the best attractions in the world, to buy tickets for which became problematic due to the large number of people wishing to get to it. The safety of the trail is now at a high level, but with strong winds, the suspension bridge across the gorge sways and is sometimes scary.
It's a linear route.
Children under 8 years of age and people with limited mobility are not allowed on the trail.
Nordic walking sticks and selfie sticks are also prohibited.
