Málaga

Sightseeing tour in Malaga

Description:

Malaga, the capital of the province of the same name and the second city of Andalusia in terms of population, is home to 560,000 people. The city’s airport, named Pablo Picasso, is the third largest airport in Spain. In the Old Town of Malaga, which was formed in the era of the Moors, are the main attractions. The cathedral, the Alcazaba fortress, the Roman theater, found by archaeologists in the middle of the last century and the house is the Pablo Picasso Museum.

On the highest part of the city, on Mount Gibralfaro, there is a fortress of the same name and an observation deck, which offers the best views of the city and the port of Malaga. From here you can go down to the historical center of the city. Merced Square, the former central square of the city, is where the artist Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born in 1881.

The Car Museum is one of the most interesting museums in the city, which I definitely recommend visiting.

Larios street is the main pedestrian street of the Old Town and undoubtedly the most beautiful.Near here is the bar "Casa de Guardia", one of the oldest in the city, where you can taste the local sweet wine "Moscatel". The Cathedral of the city, nicknamed “One-handed”, for the absence of one of the bell towers, amazes with its splendor. Near the Cathedral is the Episcopal Palace and the square of the same name.
