Ceuta is two seas, two continents.
Description:
Ceuta is an ordinary Spanish city, there is nothing African about it. The only reminder of the geographical location is the Arabs in traditional Moroccan attire, which in Israel can be seen during Mimuna. The old town is small and surrounded by new areas. In the center stands an ancient fortress, built in the 15th century by the Portuguese, who owned this place before the Spaniards. Ceuta was the first point in Africa to be touched by white civilization.
In the city center you can find the following attractions:
Cathedral. It was built on the site of the mosque of the time of Arab rule.
