Cathedral of La Manquita
Description:
La Manquita Cathedral, located in the Spanish city of Malaga, is a valuable architectural monument and one of the most visited attractions of the city. Its name translates as "one-armed lady" - here rises one tower instead of the originally conceived two.
The cathedral began to be built in the 16th century, its construction continued for several centuries, and due to lack of funds, it was never completed. The architecture of the building in connection with the duration of its construction is a sample of mixing such styles as Renaissance, Baroque, neo-classics. Inside the Cathedral there is a Gothic altar, as well as a statue of the Virgin Mary.
