Holy Week Museum
Calle Muro De San Juliá n, 2, Malaga, Costa del Sol, Spain
About the company:
The unusual Museum of Holy Week, opened in 2010, occupies a significant part of the building, built in the late 17th century, which formerly housed the San Julian Hospital.
All the objects on display here are related to the long tradition of celebrating Holy Week before Easter. Among the exhibits are items that are used during solemn religious processions, a variety of jewelry, as well as paintings and works by Juan Niño de Guevara.
As a rule, events held on the days of Holy (or rather Holy) Week are unusual and full of pomp. Presenting on the basis of the exhibition, as it happens, can be very interesting.
In addition to the permanent exhibition, temporary exhibitions are periodically held in the museum.
