The port city of Puerto Banus is located 8 kilometers from the resort of Marbella and serves as a marina for luxury yachts, as well as an elite shopping complex. This seaport was built in 1970 by the Spaniard Jose Banus.
Puerto Banus is a holiday destination for the richest people in Europe. Among the magnificent exclusive vessels here you can see the yacht Shaf London, owned by the King of Saudi Arabia. The promenade that connects the port to the city is called the “Golden Mile” – there are magnificent luxury mansions and villas.
