The Cathedral of Murcia is the most impressive building of the city. Construction of the cathedral began in 1388, and was completed only four centuries later. Since the temple has been expanded many times over the years, it is a combination of Gothic, Baroque, Renaissance, and Neoclassical styles. Despite the mixture of architectural styles, the cathedral building looks surprisingly harmonious and beautiful.
