Ronda

Church of Welfare

Spain, Malaga, Ronda

Description:

The Church of Welfare, located in Ronda, the Spanish city of Malaga, was built in 1585. This is an unusual three-nave church in the Baroque style, where the naves are separated from each other by semicircular arches resting on quadrangular supports. Above the temple itself rises the dome, located on the light drum, which makes the architectural composition even more unusual.

Inside the temple, there is also something to admire, it is there that there is a repository of silver, jewelry, the relics of St. Theresa de Jesus. There are also a number of icons made by Monk Agustin Leonardo in the XVII century and dedicated to the life of St. Peter Nolasco.
