In addition to Madrid and its faithful companion Toledo - both capitals in different periods of the existence of the Spanish state, there are also Escorial and Segovia, no less historically valuable and culturally significant objects that deserve no less attention of those who came to get acquainted with the part of Spain, which is located here, in the heart of the Iberian Peninsula.
Escorial is a royal residence of the era of King Philip II (XVI century) - his main man-made brainchild, inspirer, organizer and author, who was himself.
He (Escorial) gives impressions from complete delight to equally complete, but now already rejection, and therefore it is better to see him firsthand, and not to be satisfied only with descriptive impressions.
Segovia is a city that boasts such a centuries-old history as Toledo. Here, too, the history of the state was created, monarchs of different eras were also noted for their stay, there are also preserved monuments of ancient architecture.
Escorial, Segovia logically combine in one route with the Valley of Pashikh, a memorial complex, but connected with a completely different era, because they are all located on the same route and convenient for simultaneous visit.
