Excursion to the Cachorros de Monachil Gorge

This gorge is called

Cachorros de Monachil and here come climbers, climbers and families with young children and elderly nature lovers. This reserve is equally interesting for schoolchildren, pensioners, and those who only want to walk a dog, and fans of extreme sports.

Incredibly beautiful mountains accompany us all the way on both sides of the gorge, at the bottom of which flows a picturesque stream Monachil, originating on one of the highest peaks of Sierra Nevada - at the peak of Veleta. Through the stream laid suspension bridges on both sides of which fall from the mountains waterfalls. The Monachil Creek makes its way right in the mountains, forming grottoes and caves. It's not easy to walk along the gorge, but it's worth trying. This will be a good test for your fitness. Perhaps even better than in the gym: mountain air and loads - all this makes this escapade more enjoyable pastime than a classic gym.
