Fortress of Morella

The city of Morella was built in the 8th century, it is located on a rock, at an altitude of a thousand meters above sea level. The city was built primarily as a defensive point, so it was a castle-fortress, surrounded by a 2-kilometer wall. Morella has retained its medieval image to this day. Climbing a rather steep path up to the castle, you can see both the city itself and its surroundings.
