The idyll of tiny Varenna
So that no one prevents you from falling in love with Como at first sight, first we will go to Varenna - a former fishing settlement, and today a resort town, less touristic than Bellagio. In Varenna, narrow alleys will lead to the promenade along the lake: colorful houses, restaurants with openwork chairs, green arbors, hills with slender cypresses - this is a very photogenic place! In the church of San Giorgio I will tell you about the original ancient frescoes, and then, at your request, we will visit Villa Monastero with a magnificent botanical garden and talk about its unusual past.

Bellagio - must-see at Como
To the most famous city on the lake we will take a ferry. And this is also a landmark, because along the way there are indescribably beautiful views! In Bellagio, you will find a walk through the aristocratic Villa Serbelloni of the 15th century; a view from the cape where the two sleeves of the lake meet; and the Basilica of San Giacomo. Enjoying the streets of the Old Town with its medieval spirit, we will return by ferry to Varenna and drive back to Milan by car.
