Kiryat Shmona Airport
Description:
Kiryat Shmona Airport is an Israeli state airport located two kilometers east of the city of the same name.
With the first day of construction, the history of the airport is confused by economic problems and political differences. Until 2003, the airport was served by Arkia, but it was forced to sell shares due to low passenger traffic.
The new owners of the airport - the company "Tamir Airways" - in 2006 made repairs and commissioned a new terminal.
