Eilat

Arava Desert

located in the Southern District of Israel

Description:

The Arava Desert is one of the places in Israel that must be visited by tourists. The desert stretches for more than 150 km and is right on the border with Jordan. The climate is extremely arid, especially in the southern part, where rain falls several times a year. Tourists here are attracted by beautiful, deserted terrain with hills, lost valleys and absolute silence.

The easiest way to get to the Arava desert is from the city of Eilat by booking an individual transfer. You can also get there quickly by car, because there is a good track nearby. Coming to the desert, you need to keep in mind that at night the temperature often drops below zero.
