Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret)

The Sea of Galilee, also known as Lake Cinerat or Lake Tiberias, is located in the northeastern part of Israel, near Galilee. Despite being connected to the Dead Sea by the Jordan River, Kinnerath is a freshwater area.
It is the lowest point above sea level, almost 215 meters. After the New Testament at this place Jesus Christ instructed his disciples Peter and Andrew. Near the Sea of Galilee there are many beaches and restaurants where you can taste fish from this lake.
The easiest way to get here is by rented car to the northeast of Israel, the city of Galilee.
