About the company:
The Holocaust Museum (1949) is the world’s first museum dedicated to Holocaust victims. The material presented here contains information about the fate of Jews during the Second World War, their incredible endurance, bravery and struggle for the idea of an independent state of Israel.
A separate hall of the museum is reserved for the teacher Henrik Goldschmit (Janusz Korczak), who died in the Treblinka concentration camp, who taught to love and respect children.
The museum houses works by the French artist David Brainin, painted by him in the Camp de Royallieu concentration camp near the city of Compiegne.
In 1995, the Memorial Yad-la-Yeled was founded at the Holocaust Museum, which is a kind of reminder of the lost lives of children. The purpose of the memorial is to acquaint young visitors with the history of Jewish children in concentration camps.
Near the Holocaust Museum is the Center for Humanistic Education, dedicated to the history of the Holocaust and the Jewish people.
