Museum of Archaeology in Kfar Saba

ooh Yerushalaim, 35

About the company:

The exposition of the Archaeological Museum of Kfar Saba is devoted to the history of the city from ancient times to the Middle Ages and numerous finds that scientists managed to make in the region.

Kfar Saba is a very ancient settlement. The first mention of it in Josephus Flavius testifies to the existence of this city in the II century BC. In later times, the Romans ruled here, as clearly evidenced by the remains of buildings from the Roman Empire on the hill of Hirbat Sabbia, and then the Turks. All this makes it clear that this small town has its own archaeological museum.

The collection of the museum includes not only archaeological finds, but also graphic (photographs, drawings, ancient maps), audio-visual materials. Traveling exhibitions dedicated to the ancient history of the city are regularly organized here.

The museum is open from Sunday to Thursday from 9.00 to 14.00. Entrance fee. Access is provided for people with disabilities.
