Jewish shrines of Jerusalem

Description:

I offer to get acquainted with the many thousands of history of Israel, as well as make an amazing pilgrimage to the holy places of the Jews. The tour is held in a close circle of friends and relatives. The Russian-speaking guide will introduce you to interesting stories, facts, and legends about Jewish shrines.

  • Our journey begins from the Western Wall, which is 485 meters old structure of the Second Jerusalem Temple. This shrine of Judaism was destroyed about 2000 years ago. To this day, the Western Wall is considered a symbol of hope, the faith of the Jews that the Third Temple will be found. Thousands of Jews come to this holy place and offer prayers to the Most High. To fulfill their wishes, they leave notes with requests to the crevices formed between the stones.
  • The second attraction on our way will be the Little Wailing Wall. It is similar to the main attraction from which we have departed, but other interesting stories are associated with it, which the guide will tell you.
  • The Hurva or Ruins Synagogue is also considered a holy site, whose history dates back to 1700. The building was destroyed twice in three centuries, it existed for about 140 years in ruins, which was the reason for choosing such an unusual name for the synagogue.
  • After that, we will head to the oldest synagogue in Jerusalem, which is inferior to the grandeur and size of the Hurva synagogue. This is the synagogue of Ramban, which 750 years ago was built by the famous Kabbalist Moses Ramban.
  • The next synagogue we will visit will be Tiferet Israel. This building is considered the most beautiful, because it is not for nothing that it bears such a name (Beauty of Israel). The architecture of the building conquers with grace and beauty. This Jewish shrine is shrouded in many amazing secrets that the guide will tell you. You will also learn about the connection of the synagogue with Franz Joseph, the most famous emperor of Austria-Hungary.
  • By the end of our pilgrimage, we will drive to the Holocaust Memorial. Here, on Mount Memory, there is a national memorial dedicated to the victims of Nazism. This place can not be called a religious shrine, it is considered to be a majestic monument built in honor of fighters against fascism. This place permeates the soul of every pilgrim, here no one remains indifferent.

I propose to make a pilgrimage to Jewish shrines and historical sights in comfort, without haste and in pleasant company.
