Jerusalem—Khan railway station

Jerusalem is a city of peace.

Description:

Jerusalem A city where pilgrims and tourists from all over the world aspire, a city where three great religions coexist, a city where west and east meet. Jerusalem is truly a city of peace! And this is not just a translation of the name of the city into Russian, this is the sacred meaning of the capital of the globe!

We will begin our journey from the highest point on the Mount of Olives, where the Chapel of Ascension is located – the place from which Jesus ascended to heaven.

Moving to the observation deck, admire the panorama of Jerusalem, plunge into its centuries-old history and, of course, take stunning photos.

Jerusalem is a city of peace – who is not here – Catholics, Orthodox, Jews, Muslims. Going down on foot from the Mount of Olives, we will see the Jewish cemetery, visit the unique Catholic Church of the Lamentation of the Lord, go to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed and was taken into custody, and in the Church of the Sepulcher of Mary we will worship one of the most important relics of Orthodoxy: the Russian icon of the Jerusalem Mother of God.

Next, we will move to the Mount of Zion, where we will visit the Last Supper Upper and the synagogue, which houses one of the most important Jewish shrines - the tomb of the Great King David. But it's a city of peace! Therefore, on Spirits day in the synagogue there is an Orthodox service (David is an Orthodox saint), and over the synagogue itself there is a minaret of Nabi Daud (the prophet of David in the Islamic tradition).

Entering the Old City, we will go to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (or the Temple of the Resurrection) – the main shrine of Catholics and Orthodox – the place where Jesus was crucified and where he rose again.

In the evening, we will descend to the famous Wailing Wall, a place that, according to Jewish tradition, never left the Essence of the Lord, and here we will complete our route.
