Jerusalem – Impressions have no boundaries!

It is best to begin “entry” into the history of both Jerusalem and the Bible in general from the Mount of Olives. From here we will begin our individual tour.

Then, going down to the Old City, we pass the Church of the Lamentation of the Lord. In accordance with Christian tradition, Christ mourned the fate of Jerusalem, foreseeing its future. Therefore, the shape of this wonderful church resembles a tear.

Very close, shining with gold, the domes of the Russian Orthodox Church abroad - "St. Mary Magdalene", in which the body of the holy martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth Fedorovna rests, who shared the tragic fate of the entire royal family of the Romanovs.

At the foot of the Mount of Olives we enter the Garden of Gethsemane. Here Christ prayed to the Almighty, “Let this cup pass from me,” and here the betrayal of Judas took place, and Jesus was taken into custody.

Then we will visit the second most important church in Jerusalem – the Tomb of the Virgin Mary. It is built over the deathbed of the Mother of Christ, from which she ascended to heaven.

Then, in my comfortable car, we will go to Mount Zion, a holy mountain for both Jews and Christians.

Entering the walls of the Old City, we will walk along the Mourning Path and plunge into the world of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, which covers all the holy places of events of the last hours of the Savior’s stay in our world. This is undoubtedly the holiest place on earth.

Since our tour is individual, we will have the opportunity to delve into the topics and places of greatest interest. Well, if you feel tired, then I will always indicate the nearest places of pleasant rest.
