Christmas. Baptism. Resurrection of Christ

Description:

A one-day pilgrimage tour allows guests of Israel to touch the most important shrines associated with the name of Jesus in one tour.

The day begins with a trip to Bethlehem to the Basilica of the Nativity of Christ. You will see the place where the Savior was born. In a cave beneath the Temple’s pulpit is a silver star marking the birthplace of Jesus. It is the sacred duty of any Christian to worship and touch these shrines, as well as to pray at the Wonderworking Icon of Bethlehem, the only one in the world with the face of a smiling joyful Virgin.

After Bethlehem, you will travel through the mysterious Judean desert to the key place of spiritual activity of the Forerunner of the Savior – John the Baptist. You will be able to plunge into the waters of the Jordan, wash away your sins and feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in that very real place of Jesus’ baptism, which today is called Qasr el-Yahud. This place was closed for pilgrimage of believers for many years.

And at the end of the day you will meet the Temple of the Resurrection, or the Temple of the Holy Sepulchre. The last five stops of the Savior’s Mourning Path. From the crucifixion on Calvary to the miraculous Resurrection and the exit from the grave. In the main Church of the Orthodox world, it is possible to personally illuminate icons, crosses and other objects important for the pilgrim on the anointing stone. Burning candles from the Holy Fire.
