Russian Jerusalem. Monasteries and churches

This tour is possible on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We begin, as usual, from the east - from the Mount of Olives. With which Jesus ascended to heaven, and where many of the key events of the Gospel took place.

We will visit the Church of Mary Magdalena, the Ascension Monastery, the tomb of the Virgin. In the “Russian House” of the Alexandrov courtyard, we will worship the Doomsday Gate Threshold. We will enter the house temple of Alexander Nevsky.

In the afternoon, a trip to the Gornen Monastery in Ein Karem is planned. The Virgin lived in the house of righteous Elizabeth for three months, where John the Baptist was born.

To visit the holy places you need: modest clothes, for women – headscarves.

Shoulders and knees should be closed.

For walking routes: comfortable shoes, water supplies for drinking, in the hot period headgear and sunscreen.
