Church of Transfiguration
Description:
Earlier, a large fortress was built on the site of the church by the Crusaders, surrounded by a moat with several folding bridges, the wreckage of which has survived to this day.
The church itself has been destroyed many times. The architectural appearance of the new church, which we can see now, is influenced by the buildings of Byzantine churches, it was built by Antonio Berluzzi in 1921-1925.
