French Square
Description:
The French City Square of Jerusalem has several historical names. It was founded in 1959.
In 2007, the city of Paris, as a gift, built a fountain in the Venetian style and presented it to Jerusalem. Since then, the square has been called Paris Square.
An impressive square, located near the residence of former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
It is often the site of numerous protests against him and his policies.
The square is located on the corner of Balfur Street, next door to the Kings Hotel and Tera Sancta Monastery.
